Palawan is under Alert Level 3 until February 15, 2022.
All major Palawan destinations (El Nido, Coron, San Vicente, Culion, and Amanpulo) are open for tourism except Puerto Princesa.

Before you visit the majestic Palawan, take note of all the important travel advisories, guidelines, and Palawan LGU travel requirements to keep both tourists and locals safe.
Coron Travel Requirements
All fully vaccinated domestic tourists are allowed to enter. Minors must be accompanied by fully vaccinated parents or guardians. Tourists on staycation are required to stay within the hotel or resort premises at all times.
CORON TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 2022
Here’s a list of the Coron Palawan travel requirements 2022 to take note of before your trip:
- Approved S-Pass travel application
- Vaccination card
- Negative antigen test result (QR coded with attached receipt) or negative saliva test result (through the Philippine Red Cross) – should be conducted within 24 hours before boarding any mode of transporation.
- Roundtrip ticket
- Confirmed accommodation booking
El Nido Travel Requirements
Tourists from the National Capital Region (NCR) are allowed point-to-point travel following the El Nido Palawan travel requirements.
All ages are allowed entry but individuals over 65 years of age, those with immunodeficiency, comorbidities, or other health risks, and pregnant women must be fully vaccinated. They can only travel at least 2 weeks after the second dose.
Those staying more than seven (7) days will be subjected to an antigen test on the 8th day. This travel requirement to El Nido must strictly be followed.

- Approved S-PaSS travel application
- Vaxcert accomplished via vaxcert.doh.gov.ph or vaccination card
- Hotel Booking at DOT-accredited establishment
- Roundtrip ticket
- Valid ID
- Negative Antigen test result valid within 48 hrs prior to arrival in Palawan.
EL NIDO TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 2022 FOR UNVACCINATED / PARTIALLY VACCINATED
- Approved S-PaSS travel application
- Negative RT-PCR test result taken within the last 48 hours before travel
- Hotel Booking at DOT-accredited establishment
- Roundtrip ticket
- Valid ID
EL NIDO TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 2022 FOR MINORS TRAVELING WITH PARENTS / GUARDIANS
- 11 years old and below with fully vaccinated parents/guardians – Negative rapid antigen test result
- 12 years old and above with fully vaccinated parents/guardians – Negative RT-PCR test result
- 11 years old and below with non-vaccinated parents/guardians (or incomplete vaccination)- Negative RT-PCR test result
- 12 years old and above with non-vaccinated parents/guardians (or incomplete vaccination) – Negative RT-PCR test result
Puerto Princesa Palawan Travel Requirements 2022
Tourists visiting Puerto Princesa City can only stay there for a maximum of 4 days and 3 nights only. If intending to stay for more than 4 days, the tourist must undergo a 7-day mandatory facility-based quarantine (at traveler’s expense). - Valid ID
- S-PASS Travel Coordination Permit
- StaySafe QR Code
- Negative RT-PCR Test Result from testing facilities accredited by the DOH using nasopharyngeal swabs taken within forty-eight (48) hours prior to arrival
- Travel Order / Travel Itinerary (for APORS)
- Vaccination Card or ID (for travelers staying for 3 days only)
- Returning Ticket (for travelers staying for 3 days only)
NOTE
- For items 6 & 7 basic travel requirements, only fully vaccinated APORs are eligible for the short-term stay and free to go upon arrival, subject to rapid antigen test within 24 hours upon arrival.
- Whether you are fully vaccinated or not, you still need to comply with item 4 (test prior travel).
