Palawan is under regular General Community Quarantine (GCQ) until November 30, 2021.

All major Palawan destinations (El Nido, Coron, San Vicente, Culion, and Amanpulo) are open for tourism except Puerto Princesa.

All fully vaccinated domestic tourists are allowed to enter. Minors must be accompanied by fully vaccinated parents or guardians. Tourists on staycation are required to stay within the hotel or resort premises at all times.

CORON TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 2021

  • Vaccination card
  • Negative RT-PCR test result (QR coded with receipt) conducted within 48 hours before boarding aircraft
  • Confirmed accommodation booking

El Nido Travel Requirements

Tourists from the National Capital Region (NCR) are allowed point-to-point travel following the El Nido Palawan travel requirements.

All ages are allowed entry but individuals over 65 years of age, those with immunodeficiency, comorbidities, or other health risks, and pregnant women must be fully vaccinated. They can only travel at least 2 weeks after the second dose.

Those staying more than seven (7) days will be subjected to an antigen test on the 8th day. This travel requirement to El Nido must strictly be followed.

  • QR-coded Tourist Id (QT-ID). Get this from https://elnidotourism.ph/ by submitting the required documents.
  • Proof of Palawan residency
  • Valid identification card
  • Hotel Booking with DOT-accredited establishment

EL NIDO TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 2021 FOR TOURISTS RESIDING OUTSIDE PALAWAN

  • Approved S-Pass travel application
  • QR-coded Tourist Id (QT-ID). Get this from https://elnidotourism.ph/ by submitting the required documents. Cut-off of application is at 3 pm the day before the guest arrives.
  • Negative RT-PCR test result taken within the last 72 hours before travel
  • Booking/reservation in a DOT-accredited hotel
  • Roundtrip tickets
  • Valid identification card
  • Private transportation from the point of entry to the hotel and vice versa

Puerto Princesa Palawan Travel Requirements 2021

Note that tourists are not allowed to travel to Puerto Princesa City. Only eligible passengers will be permitted entry. See below for the Puerto Princesa Palawan Travel Requirements 2021:

  1. Valid ID
  2. S-PASS Travel Coordination Permit
  3. StaySafe QR Code
  4. Negative RT-PCR Test Result from testing facilities accredited by the DOH using nasopharyngeal swabs taken within forty-eight (48) hours prior to arrival
  5. Travel Order / Travel Itinerary (for APORS)
  6. Vaccination Card or ID (for travelers staying for 3 days only)
  7. Returning Ticket (for travelers staying for 3 days only)

NOTE

  • For items 6 & 7 basic travel requirements, only fully vaccinated APORs are eligible for the short-term stay and free to go upon arrival, subject to rapid antigen test within 24 hours upon arrival.
  • Whether you are fully vaccinated or not, you still need to comply with item 4 (test prior travel).
