When they want something, they make sure to buy it immediately. With that, they are more likely to splurge on purchases. But they are also wise spenders and assure that every transaction is safe. And one thing to do this is to pay later.

3. They like working long hours.

Baby boomers prefer focusing on their work so they can retire with enough money to travel and relax. This entails that they are ready to spend a lot on vacations.

DON’T: Close your hotel cafe early.

They came to your hotel for one thing: relaxation. After immersing themselves in activities in the city, they would want dinner delivered to their room so they can immediately go to bed and recharge for tomorrow’s activities.

DO: Ask them in the morning if you need to make-up their room.

DON’T: Make-up their room even when they did not ask you to.

Even if you don’t touch their personal belongings while making-up their rooms, baby boomers prefer to keep things the way they are unless they ask you to interfere. This is their concept of personal space.
