Definitely make sure to check out some of the city’s incredible views.
The Trans Studio Bandung Mall (previously the Bandung Supermal) is a huge mall with over 200 shops and places to eat. If you’re looking for high class shopping, make sure to drop in. For a different type of shopping area, situated next to a busy Chinatown area, you’ll find Pasar Baru Bandung and the Pasar Baru Trade Center. This area is brilliant if you’re looking to see what a traditional Indonesian bazaar looks like. You can also take a walk down Jalan Braga, the most famous historical and shopping street in Bandung. If outside is more your thing and you’re looking for some beautiful views, head to Kawah Putih (white crater), a place so beautiful it’s frequently used for wedding photography. Alternatively, there is the incredibly scenic area of Puncak where you can check out mountain views. For any architects out there, there’s Gedung Sate, originally the head office building for the Dutch Indies Government Companies during colonial times; it offers a great mix of history and culture.
Ujung Berung offers some great walks through a distinctly Indonesian landscape for the happy hiker. Lengkong will also provide you with some great views of the historical and beautiful Lengkong Lake.
